The class read a book, each reading a page, about 'What Mommies Do Best' and 'What Daddies Do Best.' They also sang a couple of songs and recited two poems. We then got to open our gifts from Cannon. Chris and I each had a bag that was beautifully decorated. In mine, was a small, wooden birdhouse that Cannon painted. Chris received a clay pot that Cannon made and glazed. He was very proud of both! Also, I got a book of poems about me! Cannon gave Chris a book that was all about him. We loved reading through them and will cherish them. The individual cards were pretty cool, too! At the end, we shared a cookie and some juice. It was a pretty special afternoon!
