Goodbye September, Hello October

The beginning of October already.  That always means reflecting on the last month.  It sure was a busy one!

September is the start of school and tends to be a month that is crazy busy and filled with a lot of "school stuff."   This year has been no different in the busy part but it seems to be going smoother, even with the change of grade levels for me as well as some new responsibilities at school.  I know that things that are important will get done.

This month, we've cleaned and purged a bunch of things.  Chris finished cleaning the garage.  We worked hard on the front yard, taking out old bushes and planting some new things.

Colson started school this September and is already learning a lot from his two days in preschool.  He likes going to school, even though he says he doesn't want to go!  He enjoys playing and counting and working with his teachers and bringing home papers to show us each day.

Cannon enjoys school more and more as the days go on.  He is a model student and does what he needs to do to meet standard.  He enjoys the time with me in the morning and has been playing on coolmath.com....which is really more 'game' and less 'math' than I would like, but he loves it.

New seasons of our old shows have started.  The Blacklist and Survivor are two of our favorites and we enjoy cuddling on the couch after the kids have gone to bed to watched the DVR'd shows.

The Seahawks and Huskies have started their seasons and we look forward to watching or listening to the games each weekend.

September is also a month to prepare for Cannon's birthday.  We've secured a place of Cannon's choice for his party and created and ordered invitations.

September was a great month!  Looking forward to October!

Enjoying every moment.
