I take pictures, scrapbook and blog because I want to record memories.
I want to remember all of these moments.
For the last few days, I've had a strong pull to record some of these small moments that I have been ignoring or forgetting to record.
So here are some things that I want to remember...
I want to remember Cannon and Colson playing together on the big toy in the back yard. I want to remember how they both rush out of the back door when we get home. Both boys love playing on the big toy and they play well on it. They are at very different stages but enjoy playing with each other as well as along side of each other. Colson is learning so much from watching Cannon. Cannon is learning how to be gentle with his little brother.

I want to remember how we cook together and make fun things. Cannon has always enjoyed cooking and helping in the kitchen and Colson will be right along side of Cannon soon enough. Tonight, we made mini calzones and Cannon put on the pepperoni. We then used the left over dough to make dessert...butter with cinnamon and sugar on the dough and cooked in the over. I used to make these treats after my mom made pies. I'd take the extra dough and do exactly what we did tonight. I want to remember how fun it was to do this and I hope that the boys remember this when they have children of their own.

I want to remember watching Colson try new things, investigate how things work and figure things out. I am continually amazed at how much he learns on a daily basis. I love how the smallest things keep him busy and how he can play with one small thing for such a long time. I love how independent he is. I love to watch him play and inspect things and wonder what he is thinking.
Enjoying every moment.
