He was excited to go, but also really wanted summer to continue. He had mixed feelings. I understand that!
At the end of the day, he was all smiles and really enjoyed the day. The best part was that he gets to have a desk this year. One all to himself. He asked right away if he could have a desk at home in his room. I wasn't sure what he was talking about at first and told him yes, he could have desk at home! But then I realized he meant a school desk! I love that he gets so excited about a desk. It really is all about the little things. They DO MATTER!
Cannon also was glad to see some old friends in his class and at lunch he sat next to Kellen. Cannon also played soccer outside at recess, which he loved.
It was a great first day for him!
