Just the Two of Us

Our lives are so full with amazing, wonderful things.
Love. Fun times. Laughter. Learning.  Togetherness. Enjoying new things. Friends. Family.
Cannon and Colson have added to our already amazing life with even MORE of the above. Plus lots of activities and exhaustion, too!

AND....we wouldn't have it any other way.
Life. Is. Good.

However, time spent with just Chris doesn't happen often.  So when we get the opportunity to head out on our own, we don't think twice!

Friday, Chris and I were able to spend part of the day exploring Tucson by ourselves.  (Thank you Grandma and Grandpa!)

We went up to Sentinel Mountain (A Mountain).  We can see this mountain from Green Valley and have been passed it numerous times.  It's the mountain with the large "A" on it in red, blue and white.  We learned today that it was made back in 1915 by University of Arizona students.

From Sentinel Mountain, we found Total Wine and were amazed at how huge that store is.  We left with way too many bottles of booze!

We stopped briefly at Nordstrom Rack to browse.  I found a couple pairs of shoes.  Hooray!

We then ate at Five Guys Burgers and Fries.  Yum!  This was the first time eating there and we were not disappointed.  Chris had a bacon burger and I had a veggie burger.  It was the best burger I've had in a long, long time!  So glad they just opened a Five Guys in Puyallup!

Our next destination was Star Peak.  We drove around this ritzy neighborhood, which includes a golf course and a massive hotel.  "Amazing" is all I can say!

Finally, we stopped at the San Xaiver Mission.  It was Good Friday so the museum and gift shop were closed. We did get to see the chapel and look around the grounds some.  This will be a place we will go back to again when we can visit the museum and take a tour.

We loved the day with just the two of us!
