"Buttercup"

We had an overnight visitor with us last night:  Buttercup

Buttercup is a cousin to Teddy, the class mascot in Cannon's EK class.

The first thing I heard about from Cannon when I saw the boys after school was that he got to bring Buttercup home.  Buttercup travels in a backpack with his blanket.  There is also a binder that tells about Buttercup, has pictures of Buttercup and also a spot for the EK students to draw and write about their time with Buttercup.

The highlight of Buttercup's visit was his ride on the new remote control car...Cannon's early birthday present.  Chris and Cannon put goggles on Buttercup and strapped him on the car for a very fast ride around the cul-de-sac.

Cannon drew and wrote about Buttercup all by himself.  You can see he tried to spell Buttercup!  We are so proud of how hard he worked on it!
