The Story of Today

Today was actually full of many, many stories.  Here are a few, some with more details than others.

We all got to sleep in a little bit.  Thank you Colson for not shouting, "Mom!" until 7am.

Cannon and Chris spent the morning together.  They went to Chris' work for a bit and then took a trip to Tacoma.

Mom and I also spent the morning together completing some errands and also did some just-for-fun shopping.  It was nice to look around, try on some things, think about Christmas things for the boys, etc.  We browsed Target, walked around Kohl's where I made a return and tried some clothes on, went to the brand new Ross in Puyallup and found a few things and finally went to Walmart for a return and some groceries.

Colson hung out with grandpa.  They had a good time together playing with toys.  Colson was tired early today and by 9:40 had grabbed his blankets and headed upstairs.  Grandpa said that was a pretty easy signal that it was nap time!

Chris, Cannon and Grandpa took the Chevelle into Orting for a short time after lunch.  There was a small car show and some booths set up.  They were hoping to see the parade, but it didn't start on time.  But they did manage a hotdog for lunch!

Cannon and I had a buys afternoon together.  We went to Heather's house for a quick visit.  Cannon and Evan played inside and outside while I visited with Heather and got to hold Morgan and Riley.  They are getting so big...2 months old!  They look so very different from the last time I saw them.

After our visit, we headed straight to Brayden's birthday party at the Enumclaw Pool.  Cannon had a good time in the water with all of the kids.  He hung to the side of the pool since he is still not very confident with his swimming.  We enjoyed cupcakes and some munchies, too! Cannon was exhausted from his day by the time we got home!

Mom and Dad spent the evening at Dad's 50th High School Reunion.  I wasn't home when they left but was sad we didn't get a picture of them all dressed up.

Chris was able to have some one-on-one time with Colson.  I see the trucks were out, as well as some spoons from the drawer.  They also spent time outside where Colson played in the dirt, of course.   Colson had a bath and then snuggled up to daddy before bed!

Chris and I watched the Huskies play....but not with great results.  Chris relaxed on the couch and flipped channels.  I finally finished my scrapbook page.  Time to continue with a few more things before bed time!

Enjoying every moment!
