It's a time we try to get the boys to relax, however Colson always seems to be wound up lately! Our current saying for him is, "He's full of spit and vinegar!" Colson loves books but doesn't like to sit in our laps to read very long. We may get through one book, then he is down and running around the room. We can get him to lay down on the floor to listen to and look at a book, then he is on the move again. It's not very relaxing...more like exhausting!
Tonight both cats came in to join us as we were reading and wanted to sleep in Colson's bed, too!
Cannon at least enjoys laying in bed and listening to stories. He would listen to 5, 6, 7 and more books if he had a choice. We usually choose three. Tonight, we only read one and then he read to me, completed another thank you note for a birthday gift and then played on the tablet. He enjoys playing a matching game, listening to talking books and playing learning games. Currently, his favorite app is Zoodles and there are many videos and games he enjoys. Tonight we worked on adding and subtracting with frogs!
