Happy Weekend

Weekends are wonderful.  Days to catch up.  Relax.  Accomplish things.  Sleep in.  Be together.  Do errands.  Sit.  Watch TV.  Play.  Play some more.

That's what we did this weekend.  It was a busy one, but it was a good one.

Saturday, Chris spent the day up in Lynnwood at Sebastian's store.  He is working on building a stage for live music.  Chris forgot to take pictures.  Next time.  I'm curious to see what it looks like.

Cannon had two birthday parties to attend.  The first was at Jumpin' Jack and Jill in Sumner.  Colson came also and they both played and played until they were red in the face and sweaty.  Cannon especially!  Thank you for a fun party Amelia! Both boys took naps when we got home and I had to wake them to go to the next party.  This one was for Brayden and it was at the movie theater.  They had fun making paper bag puppets, eating pizza and then ice cream!  Colson and I went home after Brayden opened presents and Cannon stayed to go to the movies with the rest of the kids.  They saw, Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs II.  I didn't pick him up until 9pm and he was TIRED!

Sunday, the boys and I went to church in the morning.  Then they played when we got home and made a total mess of the living room.  We watched the first part of the Seahawks  and then decided to head to the movies, just Chris and I.  We were glad Tailia could come over and hang out with the boys.  We saw The Family with Robert DeNiro and Michelle Pfeiffer.  It was good...not great, but worth getting out by ourselves on a rainy Sunday afternoon.

We enjoyed the rest of the evening together, watching the recording of the second half of the Seahawk game.  They came back from 20-3 to win 23-20!  What a great end to the game!  I had made lentil soup in the crockpot and we had a yummy dinner.

Basically, we loved being home together, not having an agenda.  It was a good weekend.

Here are a few photos from the first birthday party:

And a few from the second birthday party:

Enjoying every moment.
