4th of July Weekend

And were off again to Mayfield Lake!

This time for an extended weekend for the 4th of July.
Chris came home from Pasco on Thursday and we headed out after we were all loaded up, around 12:30.  It was great too arrive in the early afternoon and still have time to unload and relax before dinner.

It was another HOT weekend weather-wise and we spent a lot of time in the shade under the easy-up. We were thankful when there was a slight breeze!  Friday and Saturday, we spent the afternoon on the boat.  The boys loved stopping at Party Cove and swam and went on the kayak.  They also played with their toys in the sand (mud) and had a few water gun fights, too!

The evening of the 4th was spent watching the neighborhood light off fireworks.  We just turned our chairs (or turned our heads) and had a pretty good show.  Colson was in bed and missed it all, which is normal.  Cannon did stay up late and was mad when he had to come to bed at 11:00 pm.  He really, really wanted to stay up until midnight!

We did have a fun time tie dying shirts.  Claire had all of the supplies and we all got to make some shirts.  It was fun to do and exciting to see how everyone's turned out.  Cannon and Colson's shirts were great and they were very proud of their creations.  They wore them home on Sunday!

Good weekend.  Good to relax.  Good to get away.  Good to be with friends.

Enjoying every moment!
