Mayfield Lake

So. Much. Fun.

This weekend we went to Mayfield Lake to our neighbors property.  We've never been there before and boy did we have a fabulous time.

The weather was absolutely great.
The drive there was pretty.
The lake is huge, beautiful and fun!
The campfires were great for s'mores. (Cannon had 4!)
The company was amazing!
The jet boat ran well...and very fast!
The boys played and played and played.

Dan and Claire invited us to their property on Mayfield Lake, which is near Mossyrock.  We followed Greg and Brenda.  Toni and Kevin were already there.  And a few more friends came to stay as well.  The property was perfect for all of the trailers and motor homes.  And there was still plenty of room to kick around the soccer ball, play a little track ball and run through the sprinkler!

It was the maiden voyage for the jet boat and it went from zero to fast instantly!  Chris had a huge smile on his face!  I was a bit nervous.  Cannon cried.  Colson didn't care one bit!  There are still a few 'tweaks' Chris has to do to the motor and some more work to the interior, but it stayed running and remained floating!

The boys were great the entire time.  Cannon and Colson loved being on the water.  Cannon waded in the water a lot, floated on a tube and went kayaking.  He actually did a great job paddling the kayak!  I think we need to be in training for the Olympics in 2024!  Colson played with toys on the boat, loved putting his legs in the water and enjoyed the boat rides, no matter how fast or slow they were.

I do believe a trip back for us is in the near future!  Thank you, Dan and Claire!

Enjoying every moment!
