I Want to Remember

I want to remember Cannon telling me all about his first day of Early Kindergarten...he got to play with  legos; went for a walk around the school to find the missing teddy bear; about the story Mrs. Jewell read; the names of his classmates that he could remember; how his backpack zipper was stuck.

I want to remember how much I enjoyed my first week as a 4th grade teacher!  I have enjoyed the "big kids" and have a fabulous class.

I want to remember how nice it was to have my parents here to help out during the first week of school.

I want to remember the lasagna recipe my mom made for dinner!

I want to remember how excited I always am to look in Cannon's backpack and see what he's brought home from school!

I want to remember how Colson loves to spray the spray bottle everywhere, including his face, and gets things soaking wet.

I want to remember that both boys have been sick and have needed some extra love and attention this week.  (Thank goodness for Grandma and Grandpa Anderson!)

I want to remember the wonderful surprise package that Auntie Karin sent to Cannon and Colson with presents for both of them:  A bright and soft bee for Colson with a pocket that has toy doggie in it that barks.  Colson loved the card, too, which made kissing sounds when he opened it.  He kept kissing the card!  Cannon got a handmade stuffed animal for Cannon...that matches the card for him...and some tic tacs!

I want to remember how Colson loves to play in the little pool outside and usually gets soaking wet.  Lately, he has been filling up cups of water and bringing them in the house.  Usually, they get dumped out...sometimes on accident and sometimes on purpose.

I want to remember how AC and DC are so patient with the boys.  Cannon and Colson aren't the most gentle with the kitties at times and thankfully, the kitties just lie there and take it.  Or they run for their lives when they can get away!

I want to remember how much I have used my boards on Pinterest to help me with dinner ideas and classroom ideas.  I love how things are organized and that I can easily look things up that I want to find.

I want to remember how Colson reminds me of Cannon in so many ways, especially as he rides around on the Radio Flyer, pulling a "trailer!"

I want to remember how Cannon worked hard at hitting the ball off the tee and also throwing the ball.  He and grandma were outside for quite awhile practicing.  It's exciting to see Cannon continue to learn and improve new things!

I want to remember how quiet the house is right now. Chris is gone and the boys are sleeping.  Ahhhhhh.

Enjoying every moment!
