Literacy Night

Tonight was Literacy Night at school.  It was a big event and we had a great turn out.  It was so nice to see all of the kids in their jammies listening to stories, reading with their parents and signing up for library cards!

Cannon came with me, wearing his pajama's and holding his blanket.  He listened to a story in the library read by Mrs. Stroud.  Then he joined me and we read together in my room during the 20 minutes of reading.  Finally, we made our way to the gym and had a cookie and hot cocoa, which was a huge hit!  He got to see some of his friends, said hi to Ms. Gina and got to experience a great night at school!

Colson stayed home with Chris and they got to spend some quality one-on-one time together.  Chris said Colson only took a short bath because he was splashing water out of the tub and making a mess!  He also played in the Tupperware drawer and 'helped' with the laundry, which is one of his favorite things.  Pulling out the clothes one by one!

We are all enjoying every moment.
