What a weekend!
We had a great time camping in Beverly.
It was good to get away and relax.
It was good to be with family.
It was good to hang out with the neighbors.
It was good to sit in the sun.
Cannon spent a lot of time riding the three wheeler and his quad. He did great and climbed up some big hills (for him). His favorite part of riding out in the dunes is the trails. When he rides on the three wheeler, he likes to ride around the kid track and also do donuts. Crazy kid! We were very proud of him for riding so hard this weekend.
Chris also rode hard and, of course, has the bumps and bruises to show for it. However some of the injuries came from going slow on the three wheeler. Just leave it to Chris to hurt himself while coasting! I think the list of injuries requires two hands to count them all. Yes, that many. We will be applying more aloe on the burn, changing band aids, and putting on the liquid stitches, too. Sigh.
The mosquitoes were relentless this weekend and we all have the bites to show for it. We pretty much bathed in OFF as soon as we stepped out of the motor home. Even Colson has some bites on the side of his forehead and arm. We were all swatting the nasty insects away, trying to kill the ones we could and....itching!
Colson loved camping and being with everyone. He rode a bit on the three wheeler, played hard and got totally filthy. Typical boy. He wanted to be apart of whatever was going on.
Karin came to join us for the weekend and brought Hunter and Ruckus. Cannon was very excited when she came, but disappointed that she didn't bring her two cats, too! He ended up going home with Karin today and will spend a couple of days with her before heading to Grandpa and Grandma's house. So he gets to see the kitty's after all! Cannon always loves spending time with Auntie Karin and Karin equally enjoys the time she gets with both Cannon and Colson! I love the relationship they have.
Enjoying every moment.
