We've had a great few days...enjoying the weather, playing, having fun, doing a bit of work, etc.
The weather has been pretty warm and the boys (especially Cannon) has been enjoying the $7.00 Walmart pool. Cannon likes to play in the water, jump in and splash! Colson doesn't like to get in quite yet, but loves to hang around the outside, playing with toys in the pool, pulling out buckets of water and pouring them on himself. It's fun to watch!
Cannon spent a couple of days running around without any clothes on. He would start with a swimsuit on, but take it off after he got wet and never put clothes back on. This photo will be worth money someday!
Having a Popsicle on a hot day hits the spot! Colson enjoyed his Root beer flavored Popsicle. The coldness gave him a red face!
The two kitties, AC and DC are definitely part of the family. They run around and play with each other most of the time and have started to venture outside more. They like to play around some of the plants by the deck. They always sleep snuggles up together.
Cool Whip with food coloring and sprinkles has been a daily treat!
I spent one morning picking raspberries and picked four gallon size bags. I froze three bags and we've eaten the rest. I will make jam soon!
Cannon started soccer again this summer.
The propane truck came to fill the neighbors propane tank and we wandered over to watch.
A quick trip to Lowes. The boys had fun "driving" the cart around the store.
Cannon likes to use my circle cutters to cut circles, which takes some practice and patience. He did a pretty good job. He also used the circles for tracers and then cut his own circles out with scissors. Such a great idea!
Cannon LOVES to listen to music on the iPod. He often wants me to listen with him so he gives me one ear bud. He'll listen to all kinds of music.
My first pepper is ready. I need to get out there and pick it!
Colson loves to sit at the counter and eat. He also loves to eat veggies after he dips them in Ranch dressing. The veggie is just the vehicle to the Ranch!
Cannon spent quite a bit of time painting rocks. He ended up with six rocks, one for each member of the family: Dad, Mom, Cannon, Colson, AC and DC.
We went to Rhubarb Days in downtown Sumner and Cannon picked out a treat! Yummy rice crispy treats! Colson got a few bites, too.
While in Sumner, both boys loved looking at the fountain. They each threw in coins and made a wish!
Enjoying every moment.
