Cannon and Colson had a great day at Jana's house. Cannon loves going to her house. Colson is settling into a routine at a new place. He was very happy today when I dropped him off! (When is he not?!)
The kids at school are getting into the swing of things as well. The days are still long for them, and the heat doesn't help. But we are accomplishing a lot. I am looking forward to when reading groups start and we really have a good routine going. We all thrive on routine!
Chris had a good day at work and spent the evening helping Greg and Tony put Greg's motor back together. They must be working hard, because he's still not home. The boat is leaving tomorrow....nothing like last minute! Hopefully they will get it finished!
Cannon, Colson and I hung out together at home. We ate dinner...Colson didn't like his carrots mixed with cereal! We'll try again tomorrow. Cannon liked his dinner but it took him FOREVER to eat. We played outside for a short time and enjoyed the warm evening. Colson sat on the deck and watched Cannon play with the water hose. After Colson went to bed, Cannon and I read some books. We found The Three Billy Goats Gruff. Cannon really likes that book....but dislikes the troll a lot!
