Visiting Great Grandma

We arrived at the lake late last night, leaving after Cannon's swimming lessons.  Cannon slept the majority of the way and woke up as we were coming down the hill to the house and shouted, "Colson, we're at Grandma and Grandpas!"

Today, Chris, the boys and I drove to town for a visit with Great Grandma Eva...or "Grandma by the elevator".   We had a great visit.  Grandma received a big hug and kiss (on the lips!) from Cannon!  Of course, we went down to get some ice cream and a cookie!  We also went down and sat with Grandma at her table while she ate lunch.  It was nice to meet her table mates.  Cannon and Colson were the hit of the dinning room!  Colson hung out on Grandma's lap.  I think we made Great-grandma's day!

On a side note, Cannon decided yesterday that he has a new name for Grandpa Al.....Grandpa Brick.  He explained (in only a way that Cannon can) that Grandpa built the brick wall (behind their house) by hand so he was going to call him Grandpa Brick.  And so the name has stuck!
