1. A non-planned visit to the fountain and rose garden.
We had a morning appointment in Tacoma and the day was so beautiful we didn't want (or need) to rush home. So we hung out at the fountain and threw in pennies and nickles (I ran out of pennies). Of course, only after we made a wish! Cannon stuck his hands in the water and we just sat on the edge of the fountain and enjoyed the moment.
We then walked through the rose garden and smelled all of the roses. I so loved this. It was great fun to do things that sometimes we are in too big of hurry to do. The saying goes...."stop and smell the roses!" We did.
Cannon found the food coloring in the cupboard today. He was on a chair, reaching up to the third shelf! So we got out containers and watched the magic happen! Cannon mixed colors and made some pretty shades of green and orange. He also made some nasty shades of brown, too! It was lots of fun!
Out of the blue I decided to give Colson some rice cereal for the first time. He seem to like it and did a nice job "slurping" it off the spoon and swallowing. He sat up at the table with all of us while we were having dinner and ate his dinner, too!
Enjoying every moment.
So sweet! I love the shadow picture of you and Cannon (and I'm assuming Colson was in there somewhere too!)! Also, love "Enjoying every moment". It goes too fast. Sounds like a wonderful day!
