Pretend

Cannon loves to pretend and also uses a lot of factual information that he knows as he pretend plays.
Here's just a few of the things that Cannon said this morning:

"We drove the tractor to the store to get birdseed.  The birdseed is for their house (the driver of the tractors)."

"We’re going to use this one (tractor) because it has enough gas and enough oil.  But we still need to air the tires up.  Just take out the valve stem out of one tire."

"Let’s use the tow truck because I want to see if the front tire moves."

"I’m going to jack the quad up."

"You take this one to the store."

"Just make a look here and park it in the driveway."

"Let's make a big garage for the tractor and trailer to fit in.  This will go on top of the garage.  It's the windmill.  See how it spins."

No bottle again for Colson...poor Lea.  I'm sure hoping Colson will figure this out sooner than later.  Colson had a really long later afternoon nap with me.  He sure likes to watch Cannon and turns to find him whenever he hears Cannon's voice.  Tonight, I was putting Colson's jammies on in the bathroom while Cannon was finishing up with his bath.  When they were both done, I stood Colson up in front of Cannon and they talked back and forth!  Cannon was making silly sounds and laughing and Colson would "talk" and laugh back.  Then Colson would listen to Cannon and smile and laugh again.  So wonderful to watch!

Another good morning.
Another normal day at work.
A busy evening and there doesn't seem to be enough time to get things done.

Time to try and finish as much as possible!

Enjoying every moment.
