Bring On June

It's hard to believe it's June 1st!
We all slept well last night and were ready for what the day would bring to us.
This morning, we just hung out at home.  Did a lot of talking, a lot of laughing, and a lot of playing.

I had to work this afternoon at school, so Cannon and Colson went to Heather's house.  Cannon was very excited.  He loves playing with the toys at Evan's house.  Cannon said he got a cookie from Tony because, "He loves me."  Too funny!  Colson was good for Heather, too, however he wouldn't take a bottle from her.  (sigh...)  We'll continue to keep trying!

I had a good afternoon at work testing the kids, getting a couple of things organized and catching up with Holly, Judy and Mandy.  Holly and I also held our first ProCert Meeting for next years candidates.

We all pigged out at dinner...nachos with black beans, tomatoes and chicken.  I think Cannon ate as much as I did!  Cannon was making ramps at dinner with his placemat and rolling carrots down his plate!  He tried to roll the snap peas and nachos, too, but they didn't roll.  It was a good science experiment!  He told me that the milk cup would roll, but he wouldn't try it because it would spill the milk.  Smart kid!

Cannon rode his bike around before dinner and after.  Before dinner it was dry and the puddles outside were almost gone.  So he went around back and began to fill up his watering can to pour in the puddles to make them bigger!  By the time we had dinner, he had his boots and socks off because he was wet and was hauling the watering can THROUGH the house, from the back door to the front.  I put a stop to that right away!

After dinner, Cannon was on his bike again riding around (still with no shoes but he did have a helmet!).  It started to really rain hard and Cannon stayed pretty dry until he realized Chris and I weren't going to scold him for going out in the rain.  He eventually was soaked and we headed upstairs for a much needed bath!  Love that kid!  And here is a video of Cannon riding in the rain...

Ridin' in the rain.
And a couple more photos:

Enjoying every moment.
